¿Cómo describirías el estilo de tus obras?
El estilo de mi trabajo es abstracción, pero no solamente abstracción cromática o sintetizar los elementos sino que también incorporo cuestiones emocionales y cuestiones poéticas.
¿Qué fue lo que te impulsó a empezar a hacer arte?
Comenzó, como en muchos casos, cuando estaba chica, yo quería ser escritora y mucho tiempo fue mi sueño, conforme fui creciendo fui descubriendo también las artes plásticas, las artes visuales, y eventualmente me metí de lleno.
Yo diría que empezó un poco por mis ganas de leer y mis ganas de escribir, ahorita estoy muy enfocada principalmente en la pintura.
¿Cuál es tu fuente de inspiración cuando quieres crear algo?
El paisaje, creo que salir o incluso ver por la ventana es de las cosas que más me provocan, me dan ganas de ponerme a trabajar, parte de mis procesos también hago fotos y sigo escribiendo, a veces en mis diarios o muy para mi proceso, pero de donde surge principalmente es el paisaje.
¿Qué significa para ti Guanajuato?
Yo no soy de Guanajuato, nací en Nayarit pero llegué aquí cuando tenía 19 años, ya van más de 10 años y considero que gran parte de mi persona, no solo a nivel profesional, sino también a nivel personal, se formó en esta ciudad y en este entorno, y con las personas que me han rodeado aquí, entonces yo sí considero Guanajuato como mi casa.
¿Cómo ves tu carrera en un futuro?
Me gustaría seguir teniendo los medios y las posibilidades para seguir haciendo lo que me gusta, sea pintar, escribir o lo que elija. Siento que a veces no son solo las ganas sino que a veces faltan los recursos, lo principal que deseo para mí misma es siempre tener la opción de crear, y a nivel profesional me gustaría seguir desarrollando mi carrera como pintora, seguir escribiendo, conectar con otros artistas y colaborar con negocios, marcas, expandir.
¿Qué consejo le darías a alguien que quiere empezar su carrera en el arte?
Si estás haciendo algo que requiere técnica, practicar todo el tiempo, lo que quieres alcanzar con tu trabajo solo va a suceder mientras sigas trabajando. No detenerse.
Algo que me hubiera gustado escuchar cuando estaba todavía en la escuela, es desde que estás estudiando puedes empezar a considerar hacia donde lo vas a querer llevar, diversificar todas las opciones que tienen las habilidades que tú puedes ofrecer.

How would you describe the style of your work?
The style of my work is abstraction, but not only chromatic abstraction or synthesizing elements, I also incorporate emotional and poetic issues.
What prompted you to start making art?
It began, as in many cases, when I was a child, I wanted to be a writer and for a long time it was my dream, as I grew up I also discovered the plastic arts, the visual arts, and eventually I got into it fully.
I would say that it started a little bit because of my desire to read and my desire to write, now I am mainly focused on painting.
What is your source of inspiration when you want to create something?
The landscape, I think that going out or even looking out the window is one of the things that provoke me the most, it makes me want to get to work, part of my processes I also take pictures and I keep writing, sometimes in my diaries, but where it comes from mainly is the landscape.
What does Guanajuato mean to you?
I'm not from Guanajuato, I was born in Nayarit but I moved here when I was 19 years old, it's been more than 10 years now and I consider that a great part of me, not only professionally, but also personally, was formed in this city and in this environment, and with the people who have surrounded me here, so I do consider Guanajuato as my home.
How do you see your career in the future?
I would like to continue having the means and possibilities to continue doing what I like, be it painting, writing or whatever I choose. I feel that sometimes it's not just the desire but sometimes the resources are lacking, the main thing I wish for myself is to always have the option to create, and on a professional level I would like to continue to develop my career as a painter, continue to write, connect with other artists and collaborate with businesses, brands, expand.
What advice would you give to someone who wants to start their career in art?
If you are doing something that requires technique, practice all the time, what you want to achieve with your work is only going to happen as long as you keep working. Don't stop.
Something I wish I would have heard when I was still in school, is from the time you are studying you can start to consider where you want to take it, diversify all the options that have the skills that you can offer.
